  Objetivo: Aplicar la estrategia DHIN con pensamiento crítico para mejorar el rendimiento académico del curso Tesis I, semestre académico 2023 I y lograr un proyecto de tesis de calidad en la Escuela Profesional de Ingeniería de Sistemas e Informática de la Universidad Nacional del Santa. Metodología: La muestra fue de 44 alumnos, como instrumento se aplicó un cuestionario y la escala de Likert. Resultados: Se logro registrar y cuantificar el nivel de satisfacción del alumno en cuanto al entendimiento y comprensión de cada uno de los componentes del proyecto de tesis, desde la idea de qué investigar, para determinar el título del proyecto, el problema de investigación, análisis del problema, antecedentes, justificación e importancia, marco teórico y conceptual, hipótesis, objetivos del proyecto, diseño de contrastación de la hipótesis, técnicas e instrumentos de recolección de datos y referencias bibliográficas, para mejorar el proceso de elaboración y lograr un proyecto de tesis de calidad, mejorando su rendimiento académico. Conclusiones: El acta de notas finales del curso Tesis I, muestra que el 100% de los alumnos han obtenido nota aprobatoria, siendo estas: un alumno aprobado con nota 11, siete alumnos aprobados con nota 12, siete alumnos aprobados con nota 13, diecisiete alumnos aprobados con nota 14 y doce alumnos aprobados con nota 15. Lo cual, permite contrastar la hipótesis positivamente, lográndose de esta manera cumplir con los objetivos del estudio: general y específicos.

  Objective: Apply the DHIN strategy with critical thinking to improve the academic performance of the Thesis I course, academic semester 2023 I and achieve a quality thesis project at the Professional School of Systems Engineering and Computer Science of the National University of Santa. Methodology: The sample was 44 students, a questionnaire and the Likert scale were applied as an instrument. Results: It was possible to record and quantify the level of student satisfaction regarding the understanding and comprehension of each of the components of the thesis project, from the idea of what to investigate, to determine the title of the project, the research problem, analysis of the problem, background, justification and importance, theoretical and conceptual framework, hypothesis, project objectives, hypothesis testing design, data collection techniques and instruments and bibliographic references, to improve the preparation process and achieve a quality thesis project, improving their academic performance. Conclusions: The final grades for the Tesis I course show that 100% of the students have obtained a passing grade, which are: one student passed with a grade of 11, seven students passed with a grade of 12, seven students passed with a grade of 13, seventeen students passed with a grade of 14, and twelve students passed with a grade of 15. This allows us to positively contrast the hypothesis, thus achieving the objectives of the study: general and specific.
