The paper aims to analyze the profile and design activity of engineer Pietro Grassi Finocchiaro (1862-1933), who worked in some urban centers in the province of Catania between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.
Through the study of the drawings preserved in his professional archive, the objective is to shed light on a figure who contributed significantly to shape the urban landscape of these centers, also expanding our knowledge of architecture in eastern Sicily in this period.
