    • In Spain the feminine mortality of 50 and 70 years old like growing cause by the incidence of illnesses of cardiovascular type. At the increment factors in cardiovascular risk, those are added that emanate of the hormonal and metabolic change in healthy women in their menopausal transition. The objective of the study is the characterization of the hematic profile of postmenopausal women and the variation of this when a new element is included in its diet. The study was carried out in 80 Spanish postmenopausal women (45-60 years of age) residents in Madrid. The hematic control was taken before the beginning of the study and after the eight weeks. The analytic end reported a descent in the triglicerides levels and basal insulin in those that included the consumption of a food balanced in acid fatty polinsaturados Ω6 / Ω3 in its diet. A decrease of corporal wieht and reduction of the levels of arterial tension.
