This paper deals with the late medieval (Zirí period) human skeletal material yielded by the archaeological excavations at the Cueva Romero cemetery (Huéscar, Granada). There is a brief overview of the burial customs, comparing them with those of other populations from the same period. Determinations of the sex, age and stature of the different individuals are presented together the most important pathologies, which provide information about their life ways.
