In this paper we present the results of a bioanthropological study of a roman necropolis in Plaça Vila de Madrid (Barcelona) (S.I-III dC). The skeletal remains of forty-seven individuals were recovered from two kinds of burials (inhumations and incinerations) and were subsequently studied in our laboratory. Demographic, anthropometric and paleopathological analyses were performed. Finally, a biometric multivariate analyse between historical peninsular series was done.
