Khatibi, sociólogo, ensayista y novelista, abierto a la metafísica como al símbolo se interesa por múltiples corrientes del pensamiento y se inspira en los lejanos consejos de Lao-Tse. Su escritura metafórica y filosófica se apoya en un gran proyecto de cultura plural. Khatibi, al igual que Rilke, Cocteau y Nerval, en su descenso a los Infiernos, se realiza en el desierto del espíritu, para intentar afirmar, allende el deslumbramiento de la identidad y de la diferencia, la reconciliación con un yo dividido.
La escritura de Khatibi es catarsis de vida, por eso este autor, en el trabajo práctico de su texto, introdujo cierto desorden en el cuerpo del otro -del lector- y en el cuerpo social, de la misma forma que en la poesía, en la música y en el vivir cotidiano, uno habla, y, luego, se calla. Khatibi, sirviéndose del texto del Tao Te King, diluye su propio pensamiento, haciendo que este fluya en esa metamorfosis de música y lenguaje -que es la poesía- donde el verso se ha convertido en canto polifónico.

Khatibi, sociologist, essayist and novelist, not only concerned with metaphysics but with the symbols as well, is interested in many thought tendencies and finds his inspiration in the remote Lao-Tse's advices.
His metaphoric and philosophic writing is based on a magnificent project of plural culture. Khatibi -like Rilke, Cocteau and Nerval- in his descent to the hells, makes himself in the desert of the spirit, trying to state, beyond the bewilderment of the identity and the difference, the reconciliation with a divided ego and, through the Tao Te King's text, he dilutes his own thought, making it flow through this metamorphosis of music and language -which is the poetry-, where the verse has been transformed in a polyphonic singing.
