    This paper analyses the most relevant judicial decisions concerning the Asturian language handed down by the Constitutional Court, the Supreme Court and the Asturias High Court of Justice. This study makes it possible to assess the level of conflict generated by the language question in Asturias, and the typology of the main sectors on which there are rulings by the courts in this field, such as the linguistic rights of citizenship, the official status of the Asturian language, or the competence of the municipalities to approve municipal ordinances on the use of Asturian.

Esti estudiu permite valorar, per un llau, el nivel de conflictividá xenerada pol tema llingüísticu n’Asturies, y per otru, la tipoloxía de los principales sectores sobre los qu’esisten pronunciamientos de los tribunales nesti ámbitu, como son los derechos llingüísticos de la ciudadanía, l’estatus de la llingua asturiana o la competencia de los Ayuntamientos p’aprobar ordenances municipales d’usu del asturianu.
