  • Several values can be pointed to the use of azulejos in Portugal. Its durability associated with the fact that azulejos are used for more tan 500 years. Azulejos change sometimes dramatically the architectural environment in the places where they are applied. The monumentality of its use that can be translated in the fact that we can have large architectures completely covered from walls to ceilings with azulejos.
