Análisis del mapeo de la digitalización en negocios por zonas en la ciudad de Azogues y su influencia en la rentabilidad en contexto COVID-19

    La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar la influencia de la digitalización en las empresas de la ciudad de Azogues en su rentabilidad, en el contexto de la pandemia COVID-19, a través de un mapeo por zonas durante el año 2020. Para ello, en primera instancia se buscó identificar el grado de digitalización de las empresas de la ciudad mencionada; y los procesos tecnológicos más utilizados en la pandemia; seguidamente se interpretó el impacto de la digitalización en la rentabilidad de dichas empresas. Se empleó un estudio mixto que asume los enfoques cualitativo y cuantitativo, siendo además de tipo descriptivo con un diseño transversal. Los resultados muestran que, en todas las empresas encuestadas de la ciudad de Azogues influye  la digitalización en su rentabilidad, sin embargo, en algunas empresas tiene un bajo impacto, debido a la variabilidad de las utilidades; además, según el análisis por ubicación: la zona del Río Burgay, noroeste y céntrica de la ciudad de Azogues, el índice de digitalización es significativo para la rentabilidad, sin embargo en la Zona Sur el índice de digitalización carece de relación con la rentabilidad.

    In this research work, the objective has been to carry out an analysis of the influence of digitalization in business organizations in the city of Azogues on their profitability in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, through mapping by areas during the year 2020. To do this, in the first instance, we sought to identify the degree of digitalization of companies in the city of Azogues and the technological processes most used during the pandemic; next, the impact of digitalization on the profitability of companies in this city was interpreted. From a methodological point of view, it is noted that this is a mixed study that assumes qualitative and quantitative approaches and is also descriptive with a cross-sectional design. Among the results, it stands out that in the general analysis, in all the companies surveyed there is an impact of digitalization on the profitability of companies in the city of Azogues, however, in some companies it has very little influence on profitability, due to the variability of profits; furthermore, according to the analysis by location: the Burgay River, northwest and central zone of the city of Azogues, the digitization index is significant for profitability, however in the Southern Zone the digitization index has no relationship with profitability.
