    La narrativa es un testimonio de la historia política de Paraguay. Este contexto está presente como documento escrito de su intrahistoria. Los Estados Unidos jugaron un papel importante en su política, sobre a partir del devenir de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Posteriormente, el régimen de Stroessner fue importante en la lucha contra los aires revolucionarios latinoamericanos durante la guerra fría. Los narradores paraguayos dan cuenta de ello, tanto exiliados como del interior en su conjunto, sobre todo en el momento donde se centra el artículo: en los años de comienzo de su declive, a mediados de los ochenta, y en los primeros años de la transición democrática iniciada tras su derrocamiento en 1989, después del fin de las dictaduras del Cono Sur, entre 1986 y 1995.

    The narrative is a testimony of the political history of Paraguay. This context is present like document written of his intra-history. The United States played an important paper in his politics, on from the become of the Second World War. Later, the regime of Stroessner was important in the fight against the Latin American revolutionary airs during the cold war. The Paraguayan narrators give an account of this, both exiles and those from the interior, especially in the moment the article focuses: the years of beginning of his decline, around the middle of the eighty, and in the first years of the democratic transition initiated after his overthrow in 1989, after the end of the dictatorships of Cono South, among 1986 and 1995.
