Una interpretación mitológica de la construcción schellinguiana de la materia

    Además de formar parte del movimiento romántico y del Idealismo Alemán, F. W. J. Schelling tuvo una participación importante en la fuerte interacción que hubo entre las ciencias naturales y la filosofía especulativa, en particular la filosofía de la naturaleza (Naturphilosophie), a finales del siglo XVIII y principios del XIX. Tal es el caso de figuras como J. W. Ritter y H. C. Oersted, quienes emplearon el concepto de polaridad para progresar en la física empírica. A partir de los elementos de la metafísica schellinguiana, es decir, del Sistema de la Identidad (Identitätsystem) se presenta un análisis detallado de la construcción especulativa de la materia en su Naturphilosophie explicando los tres niveles de procesos dinámicos. Luego, se describen brevemente los elementos básicos del Identitätsystem. Esto incluye el concepto clave de construcción, cómo localización de lo individual dentro una totalidad o universo y el de indiferencia absoluta, la representación metafísica de la polaridad en la Naturphilosophie. Expresada a través de la Teoría de las Potencias (Potenzenlehre) se muestra cómo la construcción se traslada al terreno del arte y de la mitología, la materia de las creaciones poéticas. El propósito de este trabajo es emplear estos elementos para exhibir, con la ayuda del estudio de Schelling sobre los Cabiros, las divinidades de Samotracia, la posibilidad de una exégesis de la física schellinguiana y sus procesos desde el punto de vista mitológico. Si la construcción de la materia es el paso de lo inorgánico a lo orgánico (de la Naturaleza al Espíritu), la construcción mitológica es un paso de lo inframundano a lo supramundano, donde cada proceso físico corresponde a una divinidad y viceversa, evidenciando la profunda y prometedora conexión entre las ciencias del espíritu y las naturales que se encuentra en el núcleo de la tarea schellinguiana por conquistar lo Absoluto.

    In addition to being part of the Romantic movement and German Idealism, F. W. J. Schelling had an essential participation in the strong interaction that existed between the natural sciences and speculative philosophy, particularly the philosophy of Nature (Naturphilosophie) at the end of the 18th and early 19th centuries. Such is the case of figures such as J. W. Ritter and H. C. Oersted, who used the concept of polarity to advance empirical physics. Starting from the elements of Schellingian metaphysics, the System of Identity (Identitätsystem), a detailed analysis of the speculative construction of matter in his Naturphilosophie, is presented, explaining the three levels of dynamic processes. Then, the basic elements of the Identitätsystem are briefly described. This includes the critical concept of construction, the location of the individual within a totality or universe, and that of absolute indifference, the metaphysical representation of polarity in Naturphilosophie. Expressing construction through the Theory of Powers (Potenzenlehre), it is shown how it is transferred to the field of art and mythology, the matter of poetic creations. The purpose of this work is to use these elements to exhibit, with the help of Schelling's study of the Cabiros, the divinities of Samothrace, the possibility of an exegesis of Schellingian physics and its processes from a mythological point of view. If the construction of matter is the passage from the inorganic to the organic (from Nature to the Spirit), the mythological construction is a passage from the inframundane to the supramundane, where each physical process corresponds to a divinity and vice versa, evidencing the profound and promising connection between the spiritual and natural sciences that is at the core of Schelling's task to conquer the Absolute.
