    Derivado de la pandemia a nivel mundial por covid-19 propicio que se realizaran las actividades del sector educativo en modalidad en línea. En el caso de los estudiantes de la Universidad Veracruzana (UV), durante este periodo de pandemia tomaron sus clases en línea, por ello, la presente investigación tiene el objetivo de determinar la relación entre la motivación y hábitos de estudios de los estudiantes universitarios de la Licenciatura en Estadística. Se diseñó un cuestionario el cual fue aplicado durante los meses de octubre a noviembre del 2021. Para el análisis se realizaron estadísticas descriptivas, nubes de palabras y la prueba de Chi-cuadrada con la finalidad de identificar dependencia entre la motivación y los hábitos de estudio, encontrando que la motivación depende de la responsabilidad de cumplir con las tareas, prestar atención, organizar el tiempo y realizar el repaso para profundizar más los temas que se están abordado en cada una de las Experiencias Educativas.

    Derived from the global pandemic due to covid-19, educational sector activities were carried out in online mode. In the case of the students of the Universidad Veracruzana (UV), during this pandemic period they took their classes online, therefore, the present research has the objective of determining the relationship between the motivation and study habits of university students of the Bachelor's Degree in Statistics. A questionnaire was designed which was applied during the months of October to November 2021. For the analysis, descriptive statistics, word clouds and the Chi-square test were carried out in order to identify dependence between motivation and study habits, finding that motivation depends on the responsibility of completing tasks, paying attention, organizing time and carrying out the review to further deepen the topics that are being addressed in each of the Educational Experiences.
