    El presente escrito tiene como objetivo, abordar el análisis de elementos teóricos y metodológicos en el desarrollo de prácticas pedagógicas en el área de matemáticas con docentes de educación media de tres instituciones educativas en Toca Boyacá. En primer lugar, se realizó la contextualización de la problemática, identificando que se requiere fortalecer las prácticas docentes en el área de matemáticas en sus procesos didácticos y así contribuir al mejoramiento de aprendizajes en las pruebas ICFES Saber 11 de los estudiantes, en segundo lugar, se procedió se realizó la búsqueda de antecedentes investigativos que sustentan la problemática presentada y se abordó una reflexión temática que brinde soporte a la presente investigación. Finalmente, se describe el diseño metodológico a desarrollar, mostrando el enfoque, el tipo de investigación, población y muestra que se va a seguir en el desarrollo de la investigación, de igual manera se definen los instrumentos de recolección de información, la forma en que se van a analizar y presentar los resultados, lo anterior como parte del proyecto de tesis que actualmente se desarrolla para el doctorado.

    The objective of this paper is to address the analysis of theoretical and methodological elements in the development of pedagogical practices in the area of ​​mathematics with secondary education teachers from three educational institutions in Toca Boyacá. Firstly, the contextualization of the problem was carried out, identifying that it is necessary to strengthen teaching practices in the area of ​​mathematics in their didactic processes and thus contribute to the improvement of learning in the ICFES Saber 11 tests of the students, secondly, the search for investigative background that supports the problem presented was carried out and a thematic reflection was addressed to provide support for the present investigation. Finally, the methodological design to be developed is described, showing the approach, the type of research, population and sample that will be followed in the development of the research, in the same way the information collection instruments are defined, the way in which the results will be analyzed and presented, the above as part of the thesis project that is currently being developed for the doctorate.
