    La narrativa de Felisberto Hernández muestra la teoría de los vasos comunicantes entre las distintas artes, teoría que caracterizó a las vanguardias. Así literatura, música y cine se complementan en el texto escrito donde el escritor uruguayo intenta reflejar la velocidad que el cine ofrecía y completarla con un ritmo musical que proviene de sus años como pianista de cine mudo.

    Felisberto Hernández¿s fiction proofs (*) the theory of communicating vessels among various arts. This theory characterized vanguards. Thus literature, music and cinema complement each other within the written text. The Uruguayan writer tries to reflect the speed featured in cinema and he tries to complete that with a musical rhythm that comes from the time he spent as a pianist of silent films.
