    En el ámbito de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje, es fundamental considerar los estilos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes y adaptar las estrategias pedagógicas en consecuencia. Este estudio busca analizar las estrategias que emplean las docentes, basadas en los estilos de aprendizaje, para mejorar el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes de educación media en instituciones públicas del municipio de San Carlos, Córdoba, Colombia. Utilizando un enfoque cualitativo y un método fenomenológico, se centró en tres instituciones públicas de dicha localidad. El objetivo es desarrollar un marco teórico que permita entender cómo los estilos de aprendizaje influyen en el rendimiento académico. Se concluye que es esencial implementar estrategias educativas que se alineen con las necesidades e intereses de los estudiantes en el contexto educativo actual.

    Within the teaching and learning processes, it is important to consider the learning styles of the students and thus adopt strategies that go in the same direction. Therefore, it seeks to understand the pedagogical strategies used by teachers based on learning styles to strengthen the academic performance of secondary school students in public institutions in the municipality of San Carlos - Córdoba, Colombia. This was possible thanks to a qualitative approach with a method used is the phenomenological one. As participants, three public institutions of the municipality of San Carlos - Córdoba, Colombia were focused. From the result, it is expected to build a theoretical framework that allows understanding the relationship between learning styles and academic performance. In the same way, it is concluded that within current education strategies are required that are consistent with the needs and interests of the students.
