Respuesta de la Floración del Mango Ataulfo (Mangifera indica L. cv Ataulfo.) A diferentes Dosis de Paclobutrazol, en Huehuetàn, Chiapas

    Con el objetivo de probar un producto para inducir la floración del mango en una huerta comercial de mango Ataulfo ubicada en Huehuetan, Chiapas. Se probó el producto  Paclobutrazol para evaluar su efecto sobre la floración de mango Ataulfo. Para ello se utilizó un diseño de bloques completamente al azar, con cuatro tratamientos como sigue: T1= Testigo absoluto (sin aplicación), T2= 1.5 ml de producto comercial por árbol, T3= 3.5 ml de producto comercial por árbol y T4= 6 ml de producto comercial por árbol.  El producto fue aplicado al tronco con base al diámetro de copa del árbol (cantidad de producto por metro lineal de diámetro de copa). Los resultados fueron alentadores, se demostró el efecto positivo que tuvo este producto en algunos aspectos de la floración del mango, específicamente en cuanto al número de inflorescencias y su precocidad. Con la variable precocidad no se observaron diferencias entre las distintas dosis de Paclobutrazol, pero sí con el tratamiento testigo, que tuvo un retardo de 35 días. Para la variable número de inflorescencias, el  tratamiento T4 (6ml) fue el que dio mejores resultados duplicando el número de inflorescencias con respecto al testigo.

    With the main purpose to prove a new product for inducing mango blooming. In a comercial mango Ataulfo orchard located at  Huehuetan, Chiapas. A product named Paclobutrazol was tested to evaluate its effect upon the mango Ataulfo blooming. For that a completely randomized block design was utilized, with four treatments as follows: T1= witness (without application). T2= 1.5 ml of comercial product per tree, T3= 3.5 ml of comercial product per tree, T4 = 6 ml of comercial producto per tree and ten repetitions. The product was applied to the tree trunk, based upon the size of his top (amount of product per lineal meter of the tree top).The results were satisfactory, the positive effect of the product was demostrated in some blooming aspects of the mango tree, specifically in the quantity  of inflorescences and its precocity.With the variable precocity, there were no differences seen between the different Paclobutrazol dose, but there were with the witness, that had a 35 day blooming delay.For the variable amount of inflorescences, the treatment T4 (6ml) was the one that gave the best results, duplicating the amount of inflorescences regarding the witness.
