    El carlismo ha sido una fuerza militarista, que ha participado en sucesivos conflictos bélicos de nuestra contemporaneidad. Pero ya desde 1970 el Partido Carlista se posicionó contra las bases americanas en España y en los años ochenta fue parte del movimiento contra la OTAN. Además, en este contexto, el Partido Carlista fue uno de los cofundadores de Izquierda Unida. El objetivo de esta investigación es estudiar la participación del Partido Carlista en el movimiento anti-OTAN y analizar los argumentos antimilitaristas y pacifistas de este movimiento político tan acostumbrado a las armas y a la guerra

    Carlism has been a militaristic force, which has participated in successive armed conflicts of our time. But already since 1970 the Carlist Party positioned itself against the American bases in Spain and in the eigthier it was part of the moviement against NATO. Futhermore, in this context, the Carlist Partu was one of the co-founders of Izquierda Unida. The objetive of this research is to study the par-ticipation of the Carlist Party in the anti-NATO movement and to analyze the antimilitarist and pacifist arguments of this political movement so accustomed to weapons and war
