  • Resumen
    • The stiffness of leaf springs was calculated using the master leaf method and the finite element method. A finite element model of the leaf spring system, incorporating structural components such as the spring seat, was developed. This model takes into account nonlinear factors present in the actual working conditions of the leaf springs, such as large deformations, frictional contact, and hinge rotation. The study analyzed how various factors affect the stiffness of the leaf springs. It was found that the stiffness of the leaf spring system increases with the rise in the friction coefficient between the leaves, and initially increases and then decreases as the preload force is augmented.
