    El trabajo de investigación considera el inventario2 como herramienta eficaz para registrar los espacios verdes urbanos 3 (EVU) de Managua y tiene el objetivo de establecer una cartografía actualizada del parqué de las piezas que componen el subsistema de EVU. La indagación establece una base de datos que recoge las características de los verdes urbanos, tales como: nombre, localización, superficie, tamaño y forma. Elaborar el listado a través de consultas documentales, entrevistas y visitas de campo posibilitó actualizar a 2022, el record de los jardines existentes, comprobar el estado físico, cuantificar los índices urbanísticos y contrastar con estándares nicaragüenses e internacionales que permiten medir la calidad de vida urbana. Registrar y comparar los parámetros que definen esta morfología urbana constituye una tarea urgente para elaborar estrategias de mejora. La clasificación abre niveles de exploración que hace posible el estudio morfológico para comprender el trazado urbano que incide en el espacio peatonal y en las funciones de recreación, ocio y recuperación medioambiental de los ámbitos urbanos.

    The research work considers the inventory as an effective tool to register the urban green spaces of Managua and has the objective of establishing an updated cartography of the parquet of the pieces that make up the EVU subsystem. The investigation establishes a database that collects the characteristics of urban greens, such as name, location, surface, size and shape. Preparing the list through documentary consultations, interviews and field visits made it possible to update the record of the existing gardens by 2022, check the physical condition and quantify the urban indices and contrast with Nicaraguan and international standards that allow measuring the quality of urban life. Recording and comparing the parameters that define this urban morphology constitutes an urgent task to develop improvement strategies. The classification opens levels of exploration that make possible the morphological study to understand the urban layout that affects the pedestrian space and the recreation, leisure and environmental recovery functions of urban areas.
