    Hace dos meses, me sometí a una operación quirúrgica. Por demás está decir que, a esta altura del partido, una cirugía mayor es una cita con la muerte. Desde luego que el escritor, dada su profesión, debería estar acostumbrado a tales citas, aunque sólo fueren en el nivel metafórico

    My fantastic stories whose characteristics distance them from the realists because they occur in distant places and in very open times, apart from the fact that they attend rather to the universal constants of the human condition, especially in what has to do with the revealed truth of current times, that kind of obligatory neo-religion that is science and technology, in short: technoscience.
