    El binomio de felicidad/sufrimiento es uno de los temas que más ha ocupado el pensamiento del hombre a lo largo de toda su historia. Una respuesta particularmente interesante a este tema se dio durante la época humanística, en la que cínicos, estoicos y epicúreos buscaban responder directamente a esta realidad. Esta investigación presentará en primer lugar el contexto en el que se desarrolla la filosofía helenística para luego presentar los aportes de las tres grandes escuelas frente a este tema y mirar su influjo en algunos autores como Kant, Schopenhauer, Spinoza, entre otros.

    The binomial of happiness/suffering is one of the topics that has most occupied man's thoughts throughout his entire history. A particularly interesting response to this issue came during the humanistic era, in which Cynics, Stoics, and Epicureans sought to respond directly to this reality. This research will first present the context in which Hellenistic philosophy is developed and then present the contributions of the three great schools on this topic and look at their influence on some authors of philosophy, like Kant, Schopenhauer, Spinoza and others.
