Enseñanza basada en competencias y calidad de aprendizajes en Ingeniería Agroindustrial (UNAN - CUR Chontales)

    El presente estudio investigativo tiene como finalidad analizar el impacto de la enseñanza basada en competencias en la calidad de los aprendizajes de los estudiantes de Ingeniería Agroindustrial en el Centro Universitario Regional de Chontales, UNAN-MANAGUA, realizado en el primer y parte del segundo semestre de 2023. La metodología utilizada es un estudio cuantitativo, no experimental, transversal, con un alcance correlacional, ya que examina la relación que existe entre las estrategias de enseñanza-aprendizaje basadas en competencias y la calidad de los aprendizajes en Ingeniería Agroindustrial, apoyado en una investigación documental y de campo. La población está compuesta por 5 docentes, incluyendo 3 de planta y 2 maestros horarios. Los datos se recogieron mediante encuestas y se presentan en cuadros y figuras, con frecuencias traducidas en porcentajes para representar las respuestas de los estudiantes. Los hallazgos revelan la necesidad de mejorar la infraestructura y la formación docente en la Carrera de Ingeniería Agroindustrial de la UNAN-CUR Chontales, y destacan la efectividad de las metodologías activas y las TIC en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes.

    The purpose of this research study is to analyze the impact of competency-based teaching on the quality of learning of students of Agroindustrial Engineering at the Regional University Center of Chontales, UNAN-MANAGUA, carried out in the first and part of the second semester of 2023. The methodology used is a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional study, with a correlational scope, since it examines the relationship between teaching-learning strategies based on competencies and the quality of learning in Agroindustrial Engineering, supported by documentary and field research. The population is composed of 5 teachers, including 3 staff and 2 hourly teachers. Data were collected through surveys and are presented in tables and figures, with frequencies translated into percentages to represent student responses. The findings reveal the need to improve infrastructure and teacher training in the Agroindustrial Engineering program at UNAN-CUR Chontales and highlight the effectiveness of active methodologies and ICT in student learning.
