    Estimados lectores ponemos en sus manos un ejemplar más de la Revista Torreón Universitario, que tiene por objetivo divulgar la generación y transferencia de conocimiento con los trabajos de investigación científica de expertos investigadores, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional, de cara al mejoramiento de la calidad, tipo y enfoque de la misma. Esta revista ha sido galardonada como parte la IX Edición del Premio Nacional a la Innovación por el Consejo Nicaragüense de Ciencia y Tecnología (CONICYT) en el año 2015 a través de la Vice presidencia de la República, por su esfuerzo en elevar la calidad y aplicación de los criterios del Sistema Regional de Información en Línea para revistas científicas de América Latina, el Caribe, España y Portugal (LATINDEX) y lograr visibilidad de la producción científica de Nicaragua en Latin American Journal Online (LAMJOL). Al mismo tiempo, se encuentra indexada en dos catálogos internacionales LATINDEX y CAMJOL, con presencia en el Portal de Revistas de Nicaragua, siendo reconocida por la sostenibilidad en su publicación periódica

    Dear readers, we put in your hands one more copy of the Torreón Universitario Magazine, which aims to disseminate the generation and transfer of knowledge with the scientific research works of expert researchers, both nationally and internationally, in order to improve the quality, type and focus of the same. This journal has been awarded as part of the IX Edition of the National Innovation Award by the Nicaraguan Council of Science and Technology (CONICYT) in 2015 through the Vice Presidency of the Republic, for its effort to raise the quality and application of the criteria of the Regional Online Information System for scientific journals in Latin America. the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal (LATINDEX) and to achieve visibility of Nicaragua's scientific production in Latin American Journal Online (LAMJOL). At the same time, it is indexed in two international catalogues LATINDEX and CAMJOL, with a presence on the Rev Portal
