Based on Sloterdijk’s approaches to Humanism, a reading of its definition and postulates is carried out in order to explore its validity, possible mutations and partial radicaliza-tions. If the rise of telecommunicative media has allowed the emergence of transmissions that do not require subjects for their circulation, giving a privileged place to information, since the human-agent is dislocated from such operations, appealing nostalgically to the return of man, assuming a return after what was lost, a reencounter with the original ideal, or betting on his transcendence, in an attempt to rescue him from the apparent degradation he is facing, do not seem viable alternatives in the face of the world we are facing and the catastrophe that looms before us. It would be necessary then, from the questioning of Humanism (and its drift), to achieve in the opening a possibility of rethinking the epoch, in such a way that from it gives way to the creation of places of resistance that contemplate and, above all, concentrate their efforts in the defense of the existing.
