    El lenguaje que utilizan los felinos para comunicarse es sutil, ellos expresan sus diferentes estados de ánimo mediante acciones. El objetivo general de la presente investigación es analizar la importancia del uso del lenguaje como estrategia que tienen las personas con sus gatos para fortalecer la convivencia en el sector Urbanor 2 de la ciudad de Guayaquil. Los objetivos específicos se clasifican en indagar el uso del lenguaje que utilizan los gatos para comunicarse con los seres humanos y entre ellos, además de identificar las diferentes señales y comportamientos que los gatos usan para comunicar sus necesidades con los humanos, otro objetivo es, establecer estrategias de comunicación para difundir información sobre el lenguaje que usan los gatos para comunicarse con las personas con el fin de fortalecer la convivencia.  La metodología utilizada es descriptiva, se basa en conocer los comportamientos de los felinos mediante una encuesta a 50 familias del sector Urbanor 2 en la ciudad de Guayaquil utilizando como herramienta un cuestionario. El enfoque utilizado es cuantitativo por lo que permitió recopilar datos estadísticos conociendo el lenguaje corporal y verbal que utilizan los gatos con sus dueños, al mismo tiempo el método deductivo permitió llegar a una conclusión específica. Como resultado se pudo conocer los tipos de lenguaje que utilizan los gatos para comunicarse con los seres humanos, además, se observó la afinidad y modelos de comunicación que utilizan los dueños con sus felinos.

    The language that felines use to communicate is subtle; they express their different moods through actions. The general objective of this research is to analyze the importance of the use of language as a strategy that people have with their cats to strengthen coexistence in the Urbanor 2 sector of the city of Guayaquil. The specific objectives are classified as investigating the use of language that cats use to communicate with humans and each other, in addition to identifying the different signals and behaviors that cats use to communicate their needs with humans, another objective is to establish communication strategies to disseminate information about the language that cats use to communicate with people in order to strengthen coexistence.  The methodology used is descriptive, it is based on knowing the behaviors of felines through a survey of 50 families in the Urbanor 2 sector in the city of Guayaquil using a questionnaire as a tool. The approach used is quantitative, which allowed us to collect statistical data knowing the body and verbal language that cats use with their owners. At the same time, the deductive method allowed us to reach a specific conclusion. As a result, it was possible to know the types of language that cats use to communicate with human beings, in addition, the affinity and communication models that owners use with their felines were observed.
