    El artículo tiene como objetivo principal analizar la concepción de cultura verde como parte de las acciones propuestas por las autoridades del municipio de Altotonga Veracruz, para dar respuesta a la Agenda 2030, en especial analizamos lo plasmado en el Plan Municipal de Desarrollo 2022-2025. El abordaje teórico parte del análisis del concepto de cultura, para la definición de cultura verde. La metodología aplicada tiene que ver con la revisión que hace el Observatorio de Políticas Culturales de la facultad de Antropología de la Universidad Veracruzana sobre indicadores culturales encontrados en el plan. Como complemento del trabajo, el equipo realizó un recorrido en el mes de junio de 2023 en la cabecera municipal, aplicando entrevistas a docentes y funcionarios buscando conocer las opiniones que la población local tiene sobre un enfoque ecológico. Concluimos en que a pesar de la existencia de un trabajo importante por parte de las autoridades municipales, es necesario una mayor divulgación a los contenidos de la Agenda 2030 entre la población. Consideramos relevante el avance en la democratización de la cultura verde en Altotonga.

      Green culture and the 2030 Agenda in the Municipal Development in Altotonga, Veracruz, Mexico This article's main objective is to analyze the conception of green culture as part of the actions proposed by the authorities of the municipality of Altotonga, Veracruz, (which finds itself in dire conditions) to fulfill the 2030 Agenda, specially analyzing the Municipal Plan of Development 2022-2025 that the city's authorities are putting forward. The theoretical approach comes from the analysis of the concept of culture, to define green culture. The methodology applied relates to the revision made by the Observatory of Cultural Politics of the Veracruz faculty of Anthropology, about cultural indicators found in the plan. As a complement of the work, our team traveled around the county town in June 2023, looking for the local population’s opinions on environmental focus. We conclude that despite there being a significant effort by the city's authorities, a bigger divulgation of the 2030 agenda is necessary to reach the population. We consider the progress of democratization relevant to the green culture of Altotonga
