    El sistema educativo cubano ha experimentado a lo largo de su historia diversas transformaciones con el fin de adaptarse a las necesidades cambiantes de la sociedad. El III Perfeccionamiento del Sistema Nacional de Educación constituye la tercera etapa de importantes reformas implementadas para elevar la calidad y efectividad de los procesos formativos. Este artículo de revisión tiene como objetivo analizar los principales elementos del III Perfeccionamiento del Sistema Nacional de Educación en Cuba, incluyendo sus objetivos, medidas implementadas y los impactos y resultados obtenidos. Se realizó una revisión exhaustiva de la literatura científica y los documentos oficiales relacionados con el III Perfeccionamiento de la educación en Cuba. Se consultaron bases de datos especializadas, así como informes y estudios publicados por instituciones educativas y organismos gubernamentales del país. El III Perfeccionamiento se enfocó en fortalecer la formación integral de los estudiantes, elevar la calidad de los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje y perfeccionar la estructura y organización del sistema educativo. Entre las principales medidas implementadas se encuentran la reestructuración de planes y programas de estudio, el fortalecimiento de la preparación de docentes y directivos, y la descentralización de la toma de decisiones. Se explican en el trabajo los tipos de investigación que se han desarrollado en el III Perfeccionamiento del Sistema Nacional de Educación (SNE), sus características y posibilidades. Se califica esta última como una investigación compleja.

    The Cuban education system has undergone various transformations throughout its history in order to adapt to the changing needs of society. The Third Improvement of the National Education System constitutes the third stage of important reforms implemented to improve the quality and effectiveness of training processes. This review article aims to analyze the main elements of the Third Improvement of the National Education System in Cuba, including its objectives, measures implemented, and the impacts and results obtained. A comprehensive review of the scientific literature and official documents related to the Third Improvement of education in Cuba was carried out. Specialized databases were consulted, as well as reports and studies published by educational institutions and government agencies in the country. The Third Improvement focused on strengthening the comprehensive training of students, raising the quality of teaching-learning processes, and improving the structure and organization of the education system. Among the main measures implemented are the restructuring of study plans and programs, the strengthening of the preparation of teachers and managers, and the decentralization of decision-making. The paper explains the types of research that have been developed in the Third Improvement of the National Education System (SNE), their characteristics and possibilities. The latter is classified as complex research.
