    El següent treball presenta el procés de conservació i restauració d’una cartutxera amb munició de la Guerra Civil espanyola (1936-1939) provinent del jaciment arqueològic de Lemoatx, a Lemoa, Biscaia. Aquesta peça, que forma part d’una corretja típica d’un soldat de l’època, va ser trobada durant el camp de treball internacional organitzat per l’ajuntament de la mateixa localitat el 2017 i arriba per restaurar-la a l’Escola de Conservació i Restauració de Béns Culturals de Catalunya a finals de 2021.

    Amb aquesta intervenció es pretén tornar la lectura a l’objecte recuperant-ne tant com sigui possible la forma original i respectant la informació històrica que proporciona; també es proposa una conservació preventiva que en garanteixi la perdurabilitat.

    The following paper presents the conservation and restoration process of a cartridge case with ammunition from the Spanish Civil War (1936- 1939) from the archaeological site of Lemoatx, in Lemoa, Biscay. This piece, which is part of a typical cartridge belt of a soldier of that time, was found during the international work camp organized by the Lemoa city council in 2017 and it was brought for restoration at the School of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage of Catalonia at the end of 2021.

    This intervention aims to restore the reading of the object, recovering as much as possible its original form and respecting the historical information it provides; preventive conservation guidelines are provided too to ensure its durability
