    Durante varios siglos, al menos desde el siglo XIV, tenemos constancia de que las calles de las poblaciones de la región fueron testigo de numerosos desfiles y fiestas que animaban, a lo largo del año, las poblaciones y por tanto sirvieron de esporádica diversión a sus habitantes. Muchos acabarán por desaparecer a fines del siglo XIX. Destacamos, entre otros, Juego de cañas, Juego de la sortija, el Rey pájaro, Batalla de naranjas, alcancía, regularmente protagonizados por los caballeros. El carnaval, juego de bolos o las cometas eran más populares entre el resto de la población.
