    El objetivo de esta investigación fue proponer una metodología para la implementación del agroturismo en la parroquia rural Tarifa del cantón Samborondón en la provincia Guayas. La investigación fue exploratoria y descriptiva con un enfoque mixto ya que ser realizo una encuesta con la demanda potencial y entrevistas a expertos. Se presenta una metodología que cuenta con cinco dimensiones y dos componentes: Teórico que se fundamenta en el estado del arte del turismo y del agroturismo como oferta turística y el metodológico que presenta etapas y las acciones para la implementación. En conclusión, la propuesta metodológica contribuye al crecimiento de la oferta turística en las parroquias rurales y como herramienta para la implementación del agroturismo como oferta turística local.

    The objective of this research was to propose a methodology for the implementation of agrotourism in the rural Tarifa parish of the Samborondón canton in the Guayas province. The research was exploratory and descriptive with a mixed approach since a survey was carried out with potential demand and interviews with experts. A methodology is presented that has five dimensions and two components: Theoretical that is based on the state of the art of tourism and agrotourism as a tourist offer and the methodological that presents stages and actions for implementation. In conclusion, the methodological proposal contributes to the growth of tourism offer in rural parishes and as a tool for the implementation of agrotourism as a local tourist offer.
