Resumen de Antonio de Lebrija y la lengua griega

El artículo trata de determinar el grado de conocimiento del griego que tuvo Lebrija. Tras el estudio de sus citas en griego, su transcripción de palabras griegas y sus glosas a términos griegos, se concluye que Lebrija no llegó a saber la lengua griega, pero sí tuvo un amplio vocabulario de palabras griegas, aprendidas tanto en los autores latinos como en las traducciones de obras técnicas de los tratadistas helénicos.

The article tries to determine the knowledge of Greek language that Lebrija had. The study of the quotations in Greek, the transcriptions of Greek words and the glosses to Greek terms allows to conclude that Lebrija did not get to know the Greek language, but he had a large vocabulary of Greek words, learned both from Latin authors and from translations of technical works by Hellenic writers.
