Resumen de Debabarrena en la novela "Jenisjoplin":: espacios entre la ciudad y el pueblo

Este artículo busca investigar en la frontera entre el campo y la ciudad, siendo ésta una dicotomía espacial clásica de la literatura occidental. En este sentido, se propone el pueblo industrial como un espacio híbrido donde confluyen diferentes características espaciales y contextos sociopolíticos que rompen con el esquema binario y lo complejizan. Mediante la comarca de Debabarrena y su representación en la novela Jenisjoplin, se indagará en la tipología urbana híbrida, y en la relación que ésta ha tenido con la desindustrialización, la cultura underground y la identidad nacional y de clase de sus habitantes.

This article seeks to investigate the frontier between the countryside and the city, which is a classic spatial dichotomy in western literature. In this sense, the industrial town is proposed as a hybrid space where different spatial characteristics and sociopolitical contexts converge, breaking with the binary scheme and making it more complex. Through the region of Debabarrena (Gipuzkoa) and its representation in the novel Jenisjoplin by Uxue Alberdi, we will investigate the hybrid urban typology, and the relationship it has had with deindustrialization, underground culture and the national and class identity of its inhabitants.
