    El paciente terminal amerita no ser abandonado por parte del médico tratante. Cuan­do termina la posibilidad de un tratamiento curativo debe estar disponible sea para un tratamiento paliativo, sintomático o bien acompañarlo hasta su muerte. Se analiza el concepto de persona, paciente terminal, sufrimiento y la actitud tanto del paciente como del médico frente a la etapa final de la vida.

    The terminally ill patient deserves not to be abandoned by the physician. During the off chance of a cure should be available as a palliative treatment, for symptomatic or accompany him to his death. It analyzes the concept of person, terminal patient, suffering and the attitude of both patient and physician compared to the final stage of life.
