  • Resumen
    • Objects of study such as Sustainable Local Development, which are approached by different disciplines, frequently lack an epistemological and methodological framework, as proven in scientific literature. This work presents the methodologies for approaching Sustainable Local Development from the social sciences. The proposal is to analyse the methodologies used and applicable in research on Local Development and, specifically, Sustainable Local Development. The proposed work is initially theoretical and takes a tour of Sustainable Local Development's scientific and methodological context. It establishes how to determine methodologies according to the object of study and analyses the qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods applied. The objectives are (a) to establish the methodologies applicable to studies on Sustainable Local Development and (b) to study methods, techniques and instruments that contribute to the analysis of Sustainable Local Development.
