O sistema de veredas da provincia de Betanzos (séculos XVIII e XIX)

    No marco dunha investigación de maior amplitude xeográfica e cronolóxica financiada pola Deputación da Coruña analízase neste artigo as características do antigo sistema de circulación de ordes e disposicións característicos do Antigo Réxime: o sistema de veredas, na vella provincia de Betanzos. Neste caso presentamos, a través de documentación do Arquivo Municipal de Betanzos, e complementando esta con documentación do Arquivo Histórico Nacional, un específico análise da realidade da provincia, das súas características e problemas sistémicos, así como a recorrente tensión gobernativa entre os principais núcleos de cada provincia a nivel interno, acontecendo no caso da provincia de Betanzos unha manifesta tensión neste ámbito político coa vila de Ferrol.

    In the framework of a larger geographical and chronological investigation funded by the Provincial Council of A Coruña, this article analyzes the characteristics of the old system of circulation of orders characteristic of the Ancién Regime: the system of veredas, in the old province of Betanzos. In this case we present, through documentation from the Municipal Archive of Betanzos, and complementing this with documentation from the National Historical Archive (Archivo Histórico Nacional), a specific analysis of the reality of the province, its characteristics and systemic problems, as well as the recurrent governmental tension between the main nuclei of each province at an internal level, happening in the case of the province of Betanzos a manifest tension in this political area with the town of Ferrol.
