La creación y la recepción literaria como experiencia cerebral multisensorial

    Desde el momento de la inspiración poética hasta el momento de su recepción, los límites de la literatura permanecen en el ámbito del cerebro humano. Desde las primeras manifestaciones literarias de la historia, escritores y artistas han intuido y explorado las huellas de la creatividad, así como las similares experiencias sensoriales que el ser humano experimenta al percibir los diferentes productos artísticos, especialmente, literatura, pintura y música. El Romanticismo fue el momento en que las artes difuminaron más sus límites, respondiendo a la insuficiencia lingüística con un tipo de obra de arte total, Gesamtkunstwerk, en palabras de Wagner, en que las artes comparten algunas de sus herramientas, con otras formas artísticas. En el siglo XX y XXI, los esfuerzos en el campo de la neuro ciencia y la neuro estética, se han esforzado en mostrar cómo el cerebro humano funciona en la percepción de experiencias multisensoriales, a través de estímulos pertenecientes a la literatura, la pintura y la música. Este trabajo propone un análisis neuro estético de la percepción simultanea de estímulos auditivos y visuales, vale decir, musicales y pictóricos, al leer un texto narrativo, a partir de estudios recientes en la neurociencia.

    From the very moment of poetic inspiration until the moment of reception, the limits of literature remain in the context of human brain. Since the first literary manifestations in History, writers ana artists have sensed and explored the footprints of creativity, as well as the similar sensorial experiences that the human being experiments while perceiving the different artistic products, especially, literature, painting, and music. Romanticism was the historical moment when Fine Arts blurred their limits, responding to the linguistic insufficiency with a work of total art, Gesamtkunstwerk, in which the arts share their tools, with other sister arts. In the 20th and 21st-centuries, efforts in the field of Neuroscience and Neuro Aesthetics, have striven to prove how the human brain works in the process of human perception of multisensorial experiences, through the stimuli pertaining to literature, painting, and music. This paper proposes a Neuro aesthetic analysis of simultaneous perception of audio and visual stimuli, in others words, musical and pictorial stimuli, while reading the narrative text, taking into account recent studies in Neuroscience.
