    En nuestro artículo hemos investigado sobre el contenido de las actas que durante la Guerra Civil española confeccionó el claustro de profesores del Instituto de Cáceres. Nos movió a ello nuestro interés por conocer hasta qué punto las difíciles circunstancias que nuestro país vivía por entonces tuvieron o no reflejo en aquéllas y si acaso la tensa disputa ideológico-política que se vivía se expresó en las relaciones que los claustrales mantenían entre sí. Y, efectivamente, la rebelión franquista queda reco-gida a lo largo del tiempo que ocupa nuestro estudio, como se aprecia en que algunos claustrales fueron represaliados, también en la identificación de otros con los sublevados y en la aceptación por la mayoría de unos hechos políticos consumados en Cáceres y su provincia que eran expresión del triunfo de la rebelión.

    In our article we have investigated the content of the minutes that during the Spanish Civil War were drawn up by the teaching staff of the Secondary School of Cáceres. We were interested in finding out to what extent the difficult circumstances that our country was experiencing at the time were re-flected in them and whether or not the tense ideological-political dispute that was taking place was expressed in the relations that the cloistered teachers maintained among themselves. And indeed, Fran-co's rebellion was reflected throughout the time covered by our study, as can be seen in the fact that some cloistered members were repressed, as well as in the identification of others with the rebels and in the acceptance by the majority of the political events that took place in Cáceres and its province, which were an expression of the triumph of the rebellion.
