Resumen de La poesía hispánica en las canciones de La Oreja de Van Gogh

La Oreja de Van Gogh es un grupo musical de gran éxito en España e Hispanoamérica, formado en 1996 y totalmente activo actualmente. Una de las características de sus letras es la referencia a algunos de los principales autores y obras pertenecientes al canon poético hispánico. Las técnicas mediante las cuales el grupo crea las intertextualidades son variadas: inclusión de algunos versos con pequeñas modificaciones, imitación de la estructura de las composiciones originales o referencias directas a los autores. En este trabajo sacaremos a la luz dicha influencia poética mediante la comparación entre algunas de sus canciones y los poemas a los que estas hacen referencia, para mostrar cómo este grupo donostiarra revive en la música la poesía hispánica.

La Oreja de Van Gogh is a very successful musical group in Spain and Latin America, formed in 1996 and currently fully active. One of the characteristics of his lyrics is the reference to some of the main authors and works belonging to the Hispanic poetic canon. The techniques through which the group creates intertextualities are varied: inclusion of some verses with small modifications, imitation of the original compositions structures or direct references to the authors. In this work we will bring to light the mentioned poetic influence by means of the comparison between some of their songs and the poems to which they refer, to show how this group revives Hispanic poetry through the music.
