Construcciones de género en la producción de conocimiento científico sobre energía y ecotecnologías: la necesidad de incorporar una mirada interseccional

    El presente artículo se enmarca en un proyecto de investigación doctoral más amplio, y parte de la pregunta ¿cómo se entiende el género en la construcción de su vínculo con la energía y el uso de ecotecnologías? Se parte de entender que la categoría “género” no emerge como “un dato de la realidad”, sino que se construye a partir de definiciones resultantes de entramados sociales complejos. El texto indaga los antecedentes de la aparición de la noción de género en el campo de estudios de la energía y lasecotecnologías, además de caracterizar los razonamientos más comunes en el corpus académico elegido. Finalmente, se propone la lectura de este concepto en intersección con otras configuraciones de alteridad, con el objetivo de desnaturalizar el vinculo no problematizado entre género y energía que atraviesan.

    This article is part of a broader doctoral research project, and begins from the question: how is gender understood in the construction of its link with energy and the use of eco-technologies? It starts from the understanding that the category "gender" does not emerge as "a fact of reality” but is built from definitions resulting from complex social networks. The text investigates the background of the appearance of the notion of gender in the field of energy studies and ecotechnologies, in addition to characterizing the most common reasoning in the chosen academic corpus. Finally, the reading of this concept is proposed in intersection with other configurations of otherness, with the aim of denaturalizing the unproblematized link between gender and energy that they cross.
