Resumen de Actitud ambiental en estudiantes universitarios: un estudio con enfoque de género

  El objetivo de este artículo es describir las actitudes ambienta-les y establecer las diferencias por género en estudiantes de la Licenciatura en Seguridad, Salud y Medio Ambiente. En un estudio descriptivo y transversal en 81 estudiantes se aplicó la es-cala de actitudes hacia temas ambientales. La muestra estudia-da presentó una actitud negativa en la facilitación, la energía y el transporte. En el análisis por género las mujeres mostraron una mayor actitud positiva en la escala global y en las dimensiones de valoración, energías, reciclaje y contaminación. Se re-comienda el análisis de las políticas públicas y de la disposición de los recursos económicos para facilitar el cuidado ambiental.

  The objective of this article is to describe the environmental attitudes and establish the differences by gender in students of the Safety Health and Environment Degree. In a descriptive and cross-sectional study in 81 students, the scale of attitudes towards environmental issues was applied. It was found that the sample studied had a negative attitude towards facilita-tion, energy and transportation. In the analysis by gender, wom-en showed a more positive attitude on the global scale and in the dimensions of valuation, energy, recycling and pollution. It is recommended to analyze public policies and the provision of economic resources to facilitate environmental care.
