    “La doble hélice” es un relato de James Watson, publicado en 1968, donde describe la serie de sucesos e hitos que llevaron al descubrimiento de la estructura del ácido desoxirribonucleico (ADN), la “molécula de la vida”. El Premio Nobel de Fisiología y Medicina fue otorgado a James Watson, Francis Crick y Maurice Wilkins unos años antes de que James Watson publicara sus memorias. Sin embargo, ahí no acaba la historia. Esta reseña es un breve comentario sobre el libro y la verdad detrás del Premio Nobel de Fisiología y Medicina de 1962.

    “The Double Helix” is a book written by James Watson in 1968, where he depicts the series of events and breakthroughs that led to the discovery of the structure of deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA), the “molecule of life”. A few years before the book was published, the Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine was awarded to James Watson, Francis Crick and Maurice Wilkins. However, this story has more to it than that. This review is a short comment on the book and the story behind the Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine of 1962.
