El dossier Exilio y mujeres: aproximaciones reflexivas a sus experiencias y escrituras recoge once artículos que abordan la producción y reflexión de mujeres que vivieron el exilio y que plasmaron sus experiencias en distintos soportes discursivos. En los textos se tensiona la masculinización del campo exiliar, al exponer desde diversas disciplinas y orientaciones las contribuciones que las mujeres han hecho al mismo, cuestionando con ello su lugar de meras acompañantes durante la expulsión punitiva. Lo que sumado a un ejercicio de memoria y de reconocimiento, desde la recolección de “memorias sueltas” (Stern, 1998), contribuye a las discusiones sobre las mujeres exiliadas y sus procesos escriturales (Avila, 2022b).

The dossier Exile and women: reflective approaches to their experiences and writings includes eleven articles that deal with the production and reflection of women who lived through exile and who expressed their experiences in different discursive formats. In the texts, the masculinisation of the field of exile is put under tension by exposing the contributions that women have made to it from different disciplines and orientations, thereby questioning their place as mere companions during the punitive expulsion. This, together with an exercise in memory and recognition, based on the collection of "loose memories" (Stern, 1998), contributes to the discussions on women in exile and their writing processes (Avila, 2022b).
