Resumen de La Patagonia Rebelde en la prensa porteña: Comparación entre periódicos comerciales y anarquistas

En el trabajo se analiza el modo en el que los diarios comerciales La Nación y La Prensa, y el diario anarquista La Protesta informaron sobre las huelgas que ocurrieron en el territorio de Santa Cruz, Argentina, durante 1921, conocidas comúnmente como La Patagonia Rebelde. Se describe y se compara qué fuentes utilizaron, cómo presentaron los sucesos y cómo analizaron las consecuencias. Se comprobó que cada periódico le habló a su público según sus intereses: la defensa del orden amenazado, en el caso de los comerciales; y la reivindicación y la memoria, en el caso del diario anarquista.

In this paper we analyze the way in which commercial newspapers La Nación and La Prensa, and the anarchist La Protesta reported the strikes that occurred in the territory of Santa Cru, Argentina, during 1921, commonly known as La Patagonia Rebelde. The sources, the way the different newspaper present, describes and compares the consecuenses of these events are analyzed. We verify that each newspaper spoke to its public according to its interests: the defense of the threatened order, in the case of the commercial ones; and the claim and memory, in the case of the anarchist.
