La comunicación se centrará en el abandono inicial en los cinco grados de la Facultad de Derecho de la UB para 2011 y 2013. El objetivo principal es averiguar las causas del abandono inicial, y analizar mediante encuestas los perfiles de estos estudiantes. El análisis cuantitativo de los datos arroja un conocimiento real del abandono que es imprescindible para adoptar decisiones de política académica adecuadas y eficaces que permitan, en la medida de lo posible, mitigar esta realidad.

This paper focus on the initial abandonment for thefive degrees of the Law Faculty at the UB for years 2011 and 2013. The main objective is to find out the causes of the initial abandonment, through surveys and analyze the profiles of these students. Quantitative analysis of the data allows a real understanding of abandonment. This knowledge is essential to implement decisions on adequate academic policy to reduce this reality.
