Resumen de Propuesta de espacios policéntricos y subáreas turísticas en el estado de Puebla

  En la nueva era del turismo de finales del siglo pasado se fomenta un turismo altamente especializado tomando importancia el turismo rural como estrategia de desarrollo. El objetivo de la investigación fue conocer el potencial turístico de los municipios del estado de Puebla. La investigación surgió de la necesidad de categorizar el potencial turístico de los municipios tomando como referencia la distancia que existe con respecto a un polo turístico, su patrimonio cultural tangible e intangible, sus recursos naturales y servicios turísticos. El resultado arrojó que existen 16 municipios altamente turísticos, de ellos, 13 son espacios turísticos policéntricos, 64 son medianamente turísticos y 137 son escasamente turísticos. Los municipios medianamente turísticos, el 40.6% reúne las condiciones para integrarse al área de influencia de los espacios turísticos policéntricos. Se concluyó que los municipios altamente turísticos se concentran en la región Angelópolis y en la sierra norte del estado.

  In the new era of tourism at the end of the last century, highly specialized tourism is promoted, taking importance of rural tourism as a development strategy. The objective of the research was to know the tourist potential of the municipalities of the state of Puebla. The research arose from the need to categorize the tourist potential of the municipalities taking as a reference the distance that exists with respect to a tourist pole, its tangible and intangible cultural heritage, its natural resources and tourist services. The result showed that there are 16 highly touristic municipalities, of which 13 are polycentric tourist spaces, 64 are moderately touristic and 137 are scarcely touristic. Of moderately touristic municipalities, 40.6% meet the conditions to join the area of influence of polycentric tourist spaces. It was concluded that the highly touristic municipalities are concentrated in the Angelópolis region and in the northern highlands of the state.
