  Las enfermedades inflamatorias intestinales, cuya incidencia se ha ido incrementando en los últimos años, afectan especialmente a los países desarrollados. Esta patología tiene una afectación considerable en la calidad de vida del paciente, no solo en el aspecto físico, sino también emocional, social y laboral. Es una situación infradiagnosticada en el sistema sanitario, siendo por parte de los pacientes; sus síntomas, asimilados como normales en las personas.

  Es para el personal del sistema de salud tener un correcto conocimiento, un pilar fundamental para poder afrontar esta enfermedad, ya que la salud intestinal está ligado al bienestar general del cuerpo. Por ello es primordial que el paciente tenga el mayor confort posible.

  Inflammatory bowel diseases, whose incidence has been increasing in recent years, especially affect developed countries. This pathology has a considerable impact on the patient’s quality of life, not only physically, but also emotionally, socially and at work. It is an underdiagnosed situation in the health system, being on the part of the patients; its symptoms, assimilated as normal in people.

  It is for health system personnel to have correct knowledge, a fundamental pillar to be able to face this disease, since intestinal health is linked to the general well-being of the body. Therefore, it is essential that the patient has the greatest possible comfort.
