    En la persona de Cristo, Dios le ha manifestado al hombre su designio de establecer una relación que tiene como fin elevar la naturaleza humana hasta tal punto de llegar a la participación de la vida eterna.  El presente estudio quiere exponer el Dogma de la Asunción de la Virgen María a los cielos en cuerpo y alma, a partir de tres puntos: el primero manifiesta su desarrollo histórico y teológico desde las primeras comunidades cristianas hasta la actualidad; El segundo, su fundamento bíblico, presentando los textos más importantes del Antiguo y Nuevo testamento, que han sido utilizados por los estudiosos de este dogma; Y, por último, exponer el pensamiento teológico de Karl Rahner sobre esta verdad de fe, teniendo presente que se sale de los lineamientos tradicionales y lo aplica a la profesión de fe de la Iglesia católica.

Finally, to expose the Theological thinking to Karl Ranher over this faith True, having bearing in mind the out at the traditional ́s guideline and apply it to profession of faith of the catholic Church.
