    Las fracturas de clavícula tienen una gran incidencia, suponiendo hasta el 10% de todas las fracturas óseas. Su principal mecanismo de lesión son los traumatismos. Su diagnóstico se realiza atendiendo a los síntomas del paciente y tras la realización de pruebas radiológicas. La clasificación de la fractura, utilizando las clasificaciones de Allman, Neer, Craig o Jager y Breitner, será determinante para el tratamiento.

    Clavicle fractures have a high incidence, accounting for up to 10% of all bone fractures. The main mechanism of injury is trauma. The diagnosis is made based on the patient’s symptoms and after performing radiological tests. The classification of the fracture, using the classifications of Allman, Neer, Craig or Jager and Breitner, will be decisive for the treatment.
