The use of micro-scale techniques allows working with tiny amounts of reagents, which is a very economic and sustainable way of teaching. This decrease in the workload does not imply a decrease in learning, on the contrary. This communication presents the results of applying these techniques to the subject “Introduction to Experimentation in Chemical Synthesis” of the second year of the chemistry degree of the University of Girona.
