Recife e suas águas: uma história socioespacial e ambiental contada pelas iconografias e poesias

    The present work aims to show the socio-spatial formation of the city through the collection of highlights with the poetic literature and the iconographic collection existing in the public libraries of the state, municipality and the Joaquim Nabuco Foundation. To this end, in addition to bibliographic research in the field of history such as methodology, geography and other human sciences, the rich iconographic base of the city of Recife was used, with its numerous artists and intellectuals, from the most diverse areas, who illustrated the city's relationship with its waters. To investigate these nuances still, it was used in a complementary way the work already done and the hypothetical-deductive method discussed in Marconi et al(2017) . It is complemented with the epistemic analysis approach of critical nature, making use of the category of socio-spatial analysis in Santos (1978) and the Environmental Epistemology of Leff (2002). In this way, the reason to question and celebrate the current relationship with water is understood, since the city has a symbiotic relationship with it.

    O presente trabalho objetiva mostrar a formação socioespacial da cidade através do apanhado de destaques com a literatura poética e o acervo iconográfico existentes nas bibliotecas públicas do estado, município e da Fundação Joaquim Nabuco. Para isso foi-se usado além de pesquisas bibliográficas no campo da história como metodologias, Geografia e outras ciência humanas, foi usado a rica base iconográfica existente da cidade do Recife, com seus inúmeros artistas e intelectuais, das mais diversas áreas, os quais ilustraram a relação da cidade com suas águas. Para investigar essas nuances, foi utilizado o método hipotético-dedutivo discutido em Marconi et al(2017) . A metodologia complementa-se com a abordagem de análise epistêmica de cunho crítico, fazendo-se o uso da categoria de análise socioespacial em Santos (1978) e da Epistemologia Ambiental de Leff (2002). Dessa maneira, entende-se a razão de questionar e celebrar a relação atual com as águas, já que a cidade tem relação simbiótica com ela.
